Location: Remote (with London, UK being an advantage)
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and versatile Operations Officer to support the expansion of our global team. In this position, the officer will play a key role in helping to grow the organization to support our mission of building a world with solar at the heart of a new energy economy. The Officer will work closely with the Strategy Director and CEO to strengthen GSC’s operations at the global level to effectively implement our strategy and projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement operational procedures across the organization;
- Manage the CRM (HubSpot);
- Support the Business Development Department for Member Management;
- Manage and implement IT tools for more efficient operations;
- Digitalise our operations and maximise use of AI and automations as relevant;
- Manage communications and meetings with the Board and General Assembly;
- Provide support on administrative tasks across all departments;
- Support the CEO with administrative tasks as necessary;
- Basic bookkeeping and budget management would be an asset but not essential;
- Provide project management support on various initiatives across all departments.
Profile
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in operations, project management, administration, and/or business development;
- Passion and good understanding of solar energy, the PV industry and trade associations would be desirable;
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with an attention to detail;
- Experience in coordinating projects or activities at a global scale and across cultures;
- Experience using HubSpot or other similar CRMs;
- A team player who works well with others and is a self-starter;
- Versatility and willingness to support other activities of the GSC;
- Fluency in English (native or equivalent), other languages including Mandarin Chinese, German, Spanish, French, Hindi will be considered an asset.

- Attractive salary dependent on location and experience with possibility for discretionary bonus structure with element of performance related pay.
