Erik Solheim

Erik Solheim is a renowned global leader in environment and development and an experienced peace negotiator. He served as Norway’s Minister of Environment and International Development (2005–2012), initiating landmark programs like the global rainforest conservation effort and advancing key legislation such as the Biodiversity Act. Erik has played pivotal roles in peace processes worldwide, including Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Myanmar.

He has held prominent positions, including Executive Director of UN Environment and Chair of the OECD Development Assistance Committee. Currently, he advises governments, leads initiatives in renewable energy, and collaborates with organizations and businesses to drive sustainable development and climate solutions globally.
